The NETLINK consortium
brings together four countries represented by
The NETLINK project
is sponsored by Ministries in charge of Health and Social Security. Governmental
agencies in charge of the security of the information systems are also
associated to the project. The NETLINK project is supported by the Health
Insurance Funds, Healthcare Professionals representatives and the
bodies in charge of defining technical specifications for the nation-wide
Health Information Systems.

Cartes des Professionnels de Santé (GIP CPS)
The "Groupement d'Intérêt Public Carte de Professionnel
de Santé" is responsible for defining the CPS Healthcare
Provider Card and the reading device (Heterogeneous environment) , for
developing the CPS card, for issuing and managing it and for promoting
the whole CPS system to the Application Providers and to the Healthcare
Providers.

The " Ordre des Médecins " (French Medical Association)

code of ethics ". It follows the profession through in the purest
spirit of solidarity and brotherliness. It shows the moral rigour and
the ability that every patient has the right to expect from his doctor.

für die Kassenärztliche Versorgung in der Bundesrepublik Deutschland
This institute conducts research on the healthcare system and, with
priority, in the field of the city medical care (ambulatory medicine).
Its studies deal mainly with economy of the ambulatory medicine, evaluation
of detection programmes, training of doctors, implementation of computerised
system for doctors and the healthcare system, implementation of the
insured and patient cards and the new way of co-operation in ambulatory
medicine.

Established in 1969, the Régie de l'assurance maladie du Québec (RAMQ)
comes under the authority of the Minister of Health and Social Services.
Its mandate is to administer the Health Insurance Plan, the Prescription
Drug Insurance Plan, as well as certain other programs entrusted to
it by law or by the government.
In carrying out its mandate, the RAMQ is active in three main areas:
